We sold the last of the working-age bulls a few weeks ago - off to a suckler herd on high ground in the Mournes - and the good demand for Angus bulls means we are still getting enquiries.

Unfortunately the oldest bull in our 2012 crop by Blelack Prince is just coming up to 12 months of age but he is growing fast and we have had some interest in him already. We also have two younger bulls by Drumcorn Egghead that should sell readily later this year.

The first of this year's calves was born at the weekend - A Woodvale Total son off Drumcorn Lady Ida that was born unassisted and looks good with 'both mother and son doing well'.

  • January 2013
The good demand for Angus bulls continues with another bull sold privately for use in a large dairy herd near Lisburn.
We now have only one working-age bull for sale - the first registered calf by Cogent's Blelack Prince J165. A very correct calf - further details can be found at Drumcorn Electric L884
